You can view the game from the comfort of equipped game viewing land rovers, on foot for a more thrilling encounter or on horseback for a wonderfully unique experience.
Adjacent to Ubizane Wildlife Reserve is the renowned Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve, the oldest in Africa where the big-5 (lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard) roam the bush.
There is plenty to see in the immediate vicinity of the reserve with game viewing being top of the list.
Daily excursions into Hluhluwe-Umfolozi offer guests the opportunity of viewing a wide assortment of African wildlife including the Big-5 whilst more intimate safaris in game vehicles, on foot or on horseback are offered in the Ubizane Reserve itself.
Meals are served in the Boma, an outdoor, covered dining area that overlooks the fever tree forest and water hole.
At night log fires are lit creating an enchanting, romantic, African bush atmosphere. The pan-African cuisine offers a variety of dishes in buffet style.

Game drives:
Game viewing in open game viewing vehicles is usually reserved for the early mornings and late afternoons when the animals become more active after sheltering in the shade of the bush during the heat of the day.
Foot safaris:
Those looking to get really close to nature can embark on foot with a trained game ranger to see the wonders of the African bush close up. The foot safaris are ideal for all and give guests the opportunity of truly experiencing the African bush.
Horseback safaris:
For novice and experienced horseman the horseback safaris add a whole new dimension to game viewing. The wildlife seem totally at ease with the horses and guests have an opportunity of getting close up to the game.
