The accommodation at Hilltop Camp ranges from the selfcatering 8 bed Mtwazi Lodge to two bed and four bed self-catering and non selfcateringaccommodation facilities. Selfcatering Chalets have sleeper couches for an extra person. All rooms are serviced daily. All bed linen, bath towels are provided and the selfcatering units have all necessary basic utensils as well as cutlery and crockery supplied.
The award-winning Hilltop Camp on the summit of a forested hill offers fine views of the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park. Hilltop camp, the oldest Big 5 wildlife accommodation venue in KwaZulu-Natal, was extensively rebuilt and enlarged in the early nineties.

Hilltop Camp has a restaurant, an attractive pub and lounge decorated with photographs and memorabilia of the history of Hluhluwe, as well as a gift shop also selling curios and convenience store.
A selfguided forest trail is available to guests at Hilltop Camp.
The Mpunyane Restaurant at Hilltop Camp offers a full English / buffet breakfast. Lunches from Monday to Saturday are a la carte and on Sundays a hot and cold buffet. Dinners are hot and cold buffet with a traditional braai (barbeque) on Friday evenings.
Selfcatering guests at Hilltop Camp may choose to dine at the restaurant, we suggest booking for dinners and the Sunday luncheon
Mtwazi Lodge is a beautiful thatched house in Hilltop Camp, set in its own magnificent garden which was once the home of the warden of the Hluhluwe Game Reserve. Now a comfortable eight-bedded lodge, the accommodation comprising three bedrooms each with own private bathroom and an annex bedroom with its own shower and toilet. This annex is not of the standard of the main house.
Mtwazi is a self-catering accommodation facility with the services of a caretaker / cook included in the tariff. This unit may only be booked by one party at a time, minimum charges apply. One may choose to dine at the Hilltop Camp Restaurant if preferred.
Muntulu and Munyawaneni are bush lodges in the Hluhluwe sector of the Park, the accommodation comprising four separate en suite reed under thatch bedrooms with secluded verandas overlooking the Hluhluwe River. Each Lodge has a central viewing lounge, dining area and kitchen complex. The bush lodges provide complete privacy and can house up to maximum of eight guests. A cook/caretaker is in attendance and a field ranger is available to take visitors on walks. These units may only be booked by one party at a time, minimum charges apply.
