Elevated on a terrace overlooking the Black Mfolozi River, Nselweni bush lodge is situated in the Umfolozi sector of the Park. Built as a joint venture with members of the surrounding community and funded in part by the Conservation Levy one pays when visiting the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park.
The lodge is situated amongst a stand of umThombothi trees and accessed before reaching Mpila Camp.

- Minimum age for walks is 16 years old if unaccompanied by a parent or legal guardian and 14 years old if accompanied.
Accommodation
The view from the deck stretches down across the Black Mfolozi River where crocodiles and hippos occur and as you sip your early morning coffee or gather for sundowners in the evening you can see a variety of animals make their way out of the surrounding bush to drink cautiously from the edge of the river. Baboon seek the safety of the sheer krans downstream and on the opposite side of the River for their overnight repose.
Eight two bed units, each with en-suite shower and toilet as well as own kitchen. Visitors must bring food for the meals they want and the drinks of their choice.
The water at Nselweni Bush Camp is temporarily not fit for drinking.
Please bring your own drinking water.
Limited supplies of food and drink can be purchased at the shop at Mpila Camp which is a half hours drive away.
This Bush camp caters for a maximum of 16 guests each in two bed selfcatering units. A large group / booking of the entire camp - then has the use of the central Conference / kitchen area. Umfolozi is a malaria area so suitable precautions must be taken.
