Masinda Lodge is an exclusive lodge situated
in the northern section of the Imfolozi Game Reserve and commands
panoramic views over the bushveld and rocky ridges to the south.
Renowned for its rich and diverse wildlife, the park teems with
a wide variety of fascinating fauna and flora including elephant,
rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, giraffe, cheetah,
hyena, warthog, ,blue wildebeest and a variety of other antelop and over 300 bird species.

The roars of lion are often heard at night as guests congregate around the campfire drinking in the unique and magical sounds of the bush!
Masinda has been extensively re-furbished, offering three en-suite bedrooms featuring a décor rich in African art and craft design reflecting the artistry of the local Zulu people, and is available as a self-catered facility only. The outside annex has been included as an option for a party of 8 but this room is not of the standard as the rest of the house, which is probably 3 star.
With this self-catering option you have the services of a cook to prepare the food you bring. All badding and bath towels are provided.
Activities
Guided game drives and walks are not available from Masinda Lodge.
