Each suite boasts separate air-conditioned bedroom and lounge with fully stocked mini bar and tea/coffee facilities.The suites are brick under high thatched ceilings and glass walls offering views into the bush. The en-suite bathroom with a unique bath made for two, allowing decadence to take on a whole new meaning... accommodation ... fit for a king.
The people of AmaKhosi Lodge are as much a part of the experience as the exquisite surroundings. The local Zulu community is an important influence for AmaKhosi Lodge and its staff members, as it has provided the inspiration behind the design, decor and function of the lodge.
In keeping with the tradition, the staff members, who are mostly Zulu, have helped build a traditional Zulu Kraal as part of the lodge and, in keeping with the African style, offer Zulu dancing as entertainment for guests.

IsiGodlo Private Villa
The "IsiGodlo" meaning a Chief's residence, is a private villa which overlooks the meandering Mkuze River and is perfectly positioned to capture the beautiful African sunsets behind the rolling hills in this pristine Zululand wildlife area. Exclusive accommodation, private and located a leopard’s leap away from the main lodge, this hidden gem accommodating four (4) guests offers a share of paradise. The spacious lounge with large leather sofa's, a central fireplace and bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, all opening up onto a large wooden viewing deck, giving sweeping views of the valleys and wildlife below. The splash pool provides cool relief on warm days. The IsiGodlo Villa also comes with a Private Game Vehicle & dedicated Ranger.
Activities
Early morning and late afternoon guided walks and game drives take you into the African bush to observe the animals and their behaviour. The abundance of flora and fauna always reveals something interesting, both on the ground and in the air. Qualified, experienced game rangers introduce the unique role each animal plays on the massive stage within the African Kingdom. For those who prefer to relax at camp, there is a library, swimming pool, game viewing deck and an outdoor lounge overlooking the Mkuze River.
