Sodwana Bay is well set up for scuba diving excursions and although diving is good all year round, the best diving is between April and September each year. There is a great diversity of underwater sea scapes, corals, reef fish, overhangs, drop offs and mushrooms rocks. Whale Shark sightings are common at certain times of the year and night dives are spectacular. Diving attendants are available to assist with gear, both on the beach and at the camp. An air filling facility is available on the beach as well as a small take away facility for light meals.

Sodwana Bay falls within a protected Reserve and no quad bikes or motorbikes are allowed in the park. Visitors to Sodwana Bay can enjoy diving, snorkeling, fishing, kite surfing, horseriding, self guided walking trails or guided walks and bird watching excursions. Night Tours can also be arranged during December and January evenings offering visitors a unique opportunity to go turtle watching.

Sodwana Bay benefits from an outstanding climate all year round and attracts numerous visitors, especially divers wanting to explore its many exciting coral reefs and other hidden treasures.
