Rhino Sands Safari Camp Accommodation

The camp features four luxury safari tents, designed for comfort while maintaining a close connection with nature. Canvas walls unzip to create seamless flow from the bedroom and lounge to the private deck and plunge pool, shaded by ancient Sycamore Fig trees.

Each suite includes:

  • King or Twin beds

  • Indoor bathroom with bath & shower

  • Outdoor shower for a bushveld experience

  • Ceiling and standing fans

  • Private sun deck with plunge pool and loungers

Raised wooden walkways connect suites to the central lodge, which offers:

Safari Activities at Rhino Sands

Guests enjoy two guided game drives daily in the 23,000 ha Manyoni Private Game Reserve. This Big 5 reserve also offers sightings of cheetah and African wild dog, making it a Magnificent Seven safari destination.

  • Morning drives depart at sunrise, lasting about 3 hours, followed by a hearty breakfast back at camp.

  • Afternoon drives extend into the evening, with a spotlight search for nocturnal species after sunset.

Between game drives, guests can relax at their tent or enjoy the main lodge facilities. Birdwatchers will delight in the abundant birdlife of the riparian forest, while relaxed antelope often wander through the camp itself.

Meals are a highlight – from light lunches and afternoon teas to gourmet three-course dinners paired with fine wines, all served in a variety of stunning dining settings.
