Tucked away in the center of the Nambiti Private Game Reserve Nambiti Falls lies surrounded by seemingly endless grass lands.  Comprising of seven double en suite rooms and a large family cottage, Nambiti Falls African Safari Lodge can host groups of up to 18 guests, making it ideal for family getaways, functions or corporate events.  With an open plan lounge and dining area all kept lovely and warm by means of a large fireplace. The lodge tends to 'rub off' on our guests, who return time after time.  Nambiti Falls is often frequented by lion and elephant, with a variety of animals regularly viewed from the large outside entertainment area consisting of a lapa with built in barbeque, swimming pool and open fire place overlooking the huge fenced-in gardens.  Nambiti Falls also offers guests the opportunity to book the lodge on a self catering basis.  On this basis we still provide house keeping, a chef to assist with cooking or to start your boma fire, while you are out on a game drive.  Fire-wood, hot beverages and mineral water are all included, this to make your stay more comfortable.

Raptor Center
Get up close to a few of the largest raptors found in Southern Africa, including the crowned and black eagle, a pair of mischievous vultures, some adorable owls and others. Feel the wind of their wings as they glide millimeters over your head. Raptor talks are done by passionate people who strive to
relocate the magnificent birds back into the wild. The Raptor Center is a short drive from the lodge but a worth while trip.

Battlefield Tours
An excursion worth considering during your stay in the area is a tour to one of the many battlefield sites in and around the reserve. These tours will leave some of you in tears and others overwhelmed with awe and respect of the soldiers and warriors of yesteryear. The tours are fully guided and take place at some of the most interesting battlefield sites in Natal, including Isandlwana, Rorke’s Drift, Spion Kop, Tugela Heights, Elandslaagte, Siege of Ladysmith, Blood River and many more.

Drakensberg Tours
Encounter the majestic Drakensberg Mountain Range with your tour guide and experience one of South Africa's world famous
heritage sites. Spend time gazing at the enormous rock faces or enjoy a pancake and tea at one of many stopping points. The Drakensberg area is renowned for its selection of curio and produce shops, so remember to pack your cash. This can be a self drive or a guided trip.

Cultural Tours
Take a trip back in time and experience a true Zulu village complete with food preparation, tribal clothing and traditional huts as from the 1800`s and participate in some of their activities. Or embark on a trip to a modern day Zulu settlement to experience how rural people live today. Feast your eyes on 5000 year old bushman paintings near the small town of Dundee.

Clay Pigeon Shooting
Test your skills with a morning of clay pigeon shooting. For those whom have never tried this before, a short training session should have you dropping clays out of the sky in no time. All equipment and weapons are supplied by Nambiti Falls Lodge. Even for those of you who tend to flinch at the sound of gunfire, this will be a never to forget experience.

Golf
Enjoy a round of golf on one of South Africa's most pristine golf courses set amongst the backdrop of the Drakensberg Mountain Range. A choice of three courses are available in the area including the famous Champaign Sports Resort, and are all about an hour’s drive from the lodge, thus giving you enough time to enjoy a sundowner on game drive. Green fees are paid at the appropriate course. Transfers can be arranged.

Fishing
Try your luck at catching one of Nambiti's big bass on the fly or by lure. Our well stocked dams also provide you the opportunity of catching some huge carp. Fishing has never been so exciting, where else can you fish while watching some of Africa's wildlife taking a drink at their favourite watering hole?
All our fishing is strictly catch and release and rods and reels are available at the lodge.

Swimming
Relax around our sparkling pool with an ice cold cocktail while listening to the over 200 species of bird life Nambiti has to offer. During our summer months the pool becomes one of the star attractions.

Astronomy
Take a front seat to the largest theatre in the world, namely "The Southern African Night Sky". Be blown away at the clarity
and never ending vista that opens up above you. These star talks are held with the help of laser pointers and an interesting discussion on the constellations will amaze you.
